Silks 1

** Complete Beginners must sign up for the Intro To Aerial 4 Week Workshop before joining Silks 1. Its under "Workshops" instead of "Classes" **

As featured in KY3, KOLR10 & 417 Magazine, Aerial Silks is the coolest fitness class in town! In Level 1 we focus on conditioning on the ground and in the air, develop flexibility, build overall body strength and lay the foundation to become an aerial dancer! We explore basic climbs, foot locks, hip keys, and other foundational skills that will train us to move our body in the air with control, strength and confidence.
Don't worry, all skills are taught close to the ground. No upper body strength, flexibility or coordination is required. We will develop that together! You should expect to be in this class for several months until you get instructor approval to transition to Silks 2.

Silks 2 & 3

Climbs, gemini, triangle wrap, s-wrap, z wrap, momentum, belays, drops and progressions for all will be explored according to each person's level. Aerial theory, friction management, creative transitioning, sequence creation, choreographic exploration, and mastery of aerial content of all levels.

Prereqs: Must have a solid climb, hip key and footlocks in the air. Must be ready to train invert climbs.

OPTIONAL Silk Rental Fee:
A $20/mo silk rental fee can be charged in person in your first class if you want to have your own silk for class. Your silk can be shared with your friends or family. Please sign up ahead of time to give instructor time to rig your silks.

Ground Classes

Handstand Basics & Drills w/ Megan

Whether you’re working to get your handstand off the wall, catch a little more balance time, or increase your current practice then handstand basics is your class! Classes will focus on handstand fundamentals and drills to use in your practice. No prerequisites!

Conditioning for Aerial & Pole w/ Josi

Level up your strength, protect your body! We will be using body weight exercises, dumbbells, resistance bands, poles, stall bars and aerial apparatuses to strengthen and condition our bodies for progression and longevity. This will be run as a circuit training class.

Drills, Skills & Flow Frills

Learn how to dance with dragon staff, hoops, fans, poi, veil fans & more! Classes will include a light full body warm up, exercises that focus on strengthening our shoulders, and drill stations for various props that focus on our good sides and our poop sides. Each station will have mild and spicy options to accommodate all levels. We will be dropping things, swearing a bit, and making space to work on our technique.
You DO NOT have to have your own flow props. We've got everything for you. If you do have your own fans, poi, dragon staff or fans, feel free to bring them, though.
No, we will not be lighting anything on fire. Fuel science, material science, fire safety, and fire circle etiquette are covered in a completely different workshop we offer every once in a while.

Beginner Acro Series

No prior experience is required. No dedicated partner is required (but it's cheaper to sign up with one). In this beginner-level series, we will start with duo warm-ups and conditioning drills. Then students will learn about shapes, acro-vocab, hand and foot grips, communication/consent, spotting, and the 20 fundamental AcroLove skills. We ask that students practice good personal hygiene, as touch is an integral component of these skills. Appropriate attire: tight-fitting clothes, a mask, and clean bare feet (or socks with grips).

Intermediate Acro Series

This series will explore more complex Acroyoga poses and movements - Washing machines, counterbalances, and asymmetrical (wacky) steps.
