Aerial Silks
As featured in 417 Magazine, Aerial Silks is the new fitness class in town!
Through the next 8 weeks we will learn basic climbs, foot locks, double foot locks, hip keys, and a few tricks and drops to lay the foundation down to become an aerial dancer! Don't worry, all skills are taught close to the ground and the focus will be on conditioning and discovering new ways to move. This challenging rotation is designed for the complete beginner wanting to try a fun workout. While being fit doesn't hurt, no upper body strength, flexibility or coordination is required. We will tackle that together! Silks 2 and above are only available with instructor permission. |
Trapeze
Beginner trapeze will focus on the technique of basic skills on trapeze as well as lyra.
Students will learn the basic mounts and dismounts, skills under the bar, skills on the bar, and a few skills on the ropes. This class will focus on putting together these basic skills to create smooth combinations and spin sequences on trapeze. It will also focus on upper body and core conditioning required for higher skill levels. No prior experience is required to be a part of any beginner class. |
Specialty Workshops
Workshops will be available for lyra, hammock, and other circus arts throughout the year.
