(Check out our Insta @safpolefitness for examples of the combos you'll see in each class)
Intro to Pole Series
Welcome to pole fitness class, brave soul!
In these series we will learn foundational leg movements, how to walk around the pole, how to engage our body properly for longevity, and dive into the empowering world of pole.
Each 4 week series teaches a DIFFERENT beginner combo with walks, spins, climbs, and poses so you can build your pole repertoire while gaining strength, fluidity & confidence. We have about 8-12 series worth of Intro level material and progressions.
Beginner/Intermediate Pole Series
Must've attended a few Intro to pole series (4 recommended!). Must have a CLEAN fireman climb, forward and back hook spins, chair spin, and be able to hold their body above the floor with their hands while spinning. We will be conditioning and training for more on the pole skills and longer sequences.
**INSTRUCTOR PERMISSION ONLY**
Exotic Floorwoork & Pole
Learn a routine that incorporates transitional movements that connect spins on the pole to the floor, and movement on the floor up to the pole in this class. Exotic leg movements, body waves, and even some twerking to make you feel extra sexy! Knee pads, socks or leg warmers are highly recommended for all the slinky, sensual movements. Heels will only be welcome on the 4th week of classes to reduce wear and tear on the floors.
All levels welcome, progressions and modifications available.
Sexy Chairography
Chair class will be a combination of spins on the pole, sensual movement with the chair, and some light floor flow transitions. Knee pads highly recommended, tall socks or leg warmers optional.
All levels welcome, progressions and modifications available.
Aerial and Pole Conditioning
**NEW CLASS**
We will be using body weight exercises, dumbbells, resistance bands, poles, stall bars and aerial apparatuses to strengthen and condition our bodies for progression and longevity. This will be run as a circuit training class. No previous experience needed. This class is available as a drop in or included with your Unlimited (Aerial or Pole) Package. Find this class under the 'Class' tab.
Handstands & Flexibility
Get ready to supercharge your core, stabilizers, antagonistic muscles as well as melt into your bendiest self! Handstand and flexibility journeys are ones that come with care, correct movement and time. Learn how to begin your handstand journey or expand your training to blocks and handstand canes. This class is available as a drop in or included with your Unlimited (Aerial or Pole) Package. Find this class under the 'Class' tab.
Intro/Beginner Pole Flow
*Coming in April*
This class is designed to help you find your own personal flow. We will be learning a couple of skills from our Intro vocabulary, but the transitions and in-between movements are up to you! Music will be turned up, and you will be given the opportunity to feel yourself and fine tune your skills. Students will have instructor feedback for transition recommendations if needed.
Knee pads, tall socks, or leg warmers recommended for floorwork, if you choose to utilize the ground for transitions. For safety considerations, only Intro vocabulary allowed.
**MUST ATTEND AT LEAST 2 INTRO SERIES BEFORE ATTENDING THIS CLASS.**
