The Inappropriate Hafla is a local show concept that was developed by Christina Maharet in the early 2000's for the local Bellydance and the larger performer community to get a chance to put on a stage those performance concepts that don't fit the usual parameters for student/teacher showcases, corporate gigs, and other contracted events (birthday parties, faires, weddings, etc). This is a place where performers get to present acts that are outside of what is normally expected or appropriate for a particular art form - with themes that are weird, comedic, scary, or more often than not... risqué.
This is one of the most varied, animated, and ...inappropriate shows that we offer. If you are 21+ and have an open mind, please... please come watch!
This event is floor seating - feel free to bring a mat or pillows. Chairs are welcome - just set them near the back by the other handful of chairs we will have there. We don't want to block people's views.
Ticket Prices are $20 presale, $25 at the door. Performer pay will be split door profits after admin costs so you are directly supporting the artists.
Tipping your favorite artists directly on the performance day (cash/venmo/cashapp) is encouraged adoringly <3
