Cirque 101 & Cirque 202
Cirque 101 : Learning The Ropes
This session will introduce kids to aerial silks, trapeze, aerial hoop, & basic handstands & contortion. All skills will be taught by professionals at low height with safe progressions. Children will get a taste of the skill and strength it takes to perform aerial arts, as well as getting to be a part of the magic they have seen at the circus!
Cirque 202: Act Development
We will focus on what it takes to build an engaging aerial act. We will focus on artistry, transitions, flow, sequencing of movements, floor work, storytelling, character development, laban movement analysis, and beginner cirque face paint. All levels are welcome, but students must have a basic working knowledge in all apparatuses.
Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm
Ages: 7-16
Cost: $250

Prereqs: Must be a current student and have a working knowledge and ability to execute foundational mounts and basic skills with proper engagement on all apparatuses.
